Koosha’s eye contact has greatly improved, and he is engaging in more conversations, showing a better understanding overall. Although he tends to repeat himself, it is less frequent. He is calmer and more relaxed, no longer beating his chest out of frustration. He has also become more communicative. Koosha had a habit of picking at his fingers until they bled, but now wears bandages on all his fingers to prevent this. In a positive development, he has agreed to let his mom take him for manicures and pedicures instead of doing it himself, which has eliminated the bleeding from his feet and fingers. His family doctor has also expressed amazement at Koosha’s eye contact, his ability to follow instructions, and his speech, noting that he seems much more aware. Overall, Koosha has shown significant improvement.
