Todor Georgiev has demonstrated significant and sustained positive developments across multiple domains during his follow-up period. Initially, his speech improved with his first word “sit,” along with the use of “Mom” and “Dad,” while his eye contact and general understanding began to get better. Socially, he started to go to the park with other children and was more capable of eating alone with a spoon. His focus time had improved dramatically, allowing him to follow instructions and cooperate with his therapist for full hour-long sessions, where he would smile and demonstrate a very good understanding. He was also responding to his name, trying new foods, and overcoming a prior fixation on car rides, which became significantly less frequent. His tantrums decreased significantly, his behaviors were more regulated and calmer, and he no longer showed aggression toward his brother. He became more present and responsive, started sitting with his family on the couch, no longer preferred to be left alone, and could sleep through the night with music. Furthermore, he began saying new words like “kaka” (big sister), would hug and smile at guests, and showed no sensitivity issues anymore.
